Employment Assistance

Employment Assistance

Employment Assistance

A publication offering opportunities for employment

Employment Assistance can include many different services to prepare an individual for entry into the workforce, or for job skill rehabilitation after a period of instability. As society shifts to the abstract, digital world, it is good to have professional instruction and guidance to provide a worker with the knowledge of processes so they can get hired into a career, instead of just a job. These services can include: resume building, job search assistance, professional development workshops, career planning and counseling, mock interviews, occupational/vocational training, and on-the-job training. For Oconee County, SC Works through Worklink is available to provide all of these services and more.
